In April 2013, the General Assembly of North Carolina passed a resolution honoring Billy and Ruth Graham for their prolific ministry and enduring impact on the world. The bill also named Mr. Graham “North Carolina’s Favorite Son,” sparking plans for a museum exhibit that would recount the beloved evangelist’s remarkable journey of faith.

I was hired to write the exhibit’s overarching narrative, describing Mr. Graham’s childhood, conversion, and 70-year ministry. I told Mr. Graham’s story in approximately 5,000 words. This content spanned nine narrative sections and six spotlight features that highlighted additional areas of interest from Mr. Graham’s life, including his role in the conversion of Louis Zamperini.

North Carolina’s Favorite Son: Billy Graham and His Remarkable Journey of Faith will run from November 6, 2015 through July 2016.
